
Our Mission -
The Department of Architecture and Engineering is dedicated to providing university caliber coursework for students interested in pursuing a career in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting and other related fields. Our mission is to fully prepare students for transfer to 4-year colleges and universities as well as direct employment.
The Program -
To complete an A.S. degrees in one of several Architecture and Engineering related areas, MJC provides the required general education and major courses. Students planning on transferring can complete lower division coursework required by 4-year colleges and universities in their field of choice. Students will complete fully-transferable courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering and Architecture. Hands-on laboratory sessions and student project assignments are used to reinforce quality instruction.
